VIDEO: Library hosts poetry slam at Keg N' Cork

The Bemidji Public Library hosted a poetry slam Friday at Keg N' Cork in downtown Bemidji. The event was part of Bemidji Library Book Festival, which continues Saturday with a 10 a.m. poetry writing and 10:30 a.m. writing workshop for adults at the library.

Cassi Larson took first place in the poetry slam. The three other finalists were Cate Belleveau, Eric Hucke and Dawn Loeffler. Featured performers were Kathryn Kysar and musician Sean Egan.
