Larry the Cable Guy in Bemidji to be aired May 10 on History Channel
Larry the Cable Guy will be featured going to school at Bemidji High School at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, as part of his television show "Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy" on the History Channel.
In November, Larry visited students at BHS where he served lunch, taught a class and co-anchored the morning announcement show. He also took a curling lesson at the Bemidji Curling Club.
The television show features the comedian crisscrossing the nation in search of people and places that define America's history. So far this season, Larry has dug for gold, deep-fried food, ridden with the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, learned about becoming an astronaut, searched for alligators, raced dogs, ventured into a swamp and learned how to make moonshine.
Other segments to be included on the May 10 show are Larry learning how a cable car system runs, discovering the hidden worlds of Chinatown and helping to manage a timber business at the Rough 'n Ready Lumber Company in Oregon.
