Art Kaemmer with Alice the gorilla at his house in St. Paul on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018. For more than 40 years, Alice the gorilla has been greeting kids at the door behind him on Halloween. Kaemmer, a retired pediatrician, asks that local kids bring a canned good for the food shelf in return for being scared to death. This will be the last Halloween for Alice.
