The Beavers (11-13, 7-13 NSIC), led the Marauders (16-10, 11-9 NSIC) at halftime 37-35.

The teams traded baskets for a five-minute stretch until BSU’s Jessie Althoff put the Beavers ahead by one with an old-fashioned 3-point play at the 10:09 mark.

BSU never trailed again, but a jumper by Mary’s Shauna Knife tied the game at 73-all with 8 seconds to go.

But Youngblut’s 3 from the top of the key with a second to go gave BSU the thrilling victory.

Shannon Thompson and Kate Warmack had 17 points each to lead the Beavers while Althoff and Emily Kaus both scored 13. Warmack and Kaus also grabbed 10 rebounda apiece to give them both double-doubles.

Ali Collins led U-Mary with 19 points while Knife scored 17.
