WWII aircraft returns to Bemidji
BEMIDJI-- AirCorps Aviation of Bemidji and Texas Flying Legends Museum will display the 2013 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Reserve Grand Champion Canadian MK-IV Harvard starting at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bemidji Regional Airport.
The Harvard series of aircraft were British Commonwealth Air Forces versions of the North American planes trainers used during and after World War II. North American delivered its first Harvards in October 1938 to the Royal Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force.
AirCorps Aviation is a world class aircraft restoration and maintenance facility located in Bemidji with a team of 12 full-time and four part-time employees.
