WRESTLING: Bemidji tops Sartell, falls to Brainerd in tri meet
BRAINERD – The Bemidji wrestling team split its triangular meet here Tuesday night.
The Lumberjacks steamrolled past Sartell-St. Stephen in the opener, 45-15, before dropping a close match against hosts Brainerd, 39-34 in the nightcap.
In the opening match, the Lumberjacks won 12 of the 14 matches; one of said matches was ended when Brody Wilander was injured and had to lose by injury default.
In the other 12 matches, however, it was all Lumberjacks.
