Workshop on growing veggies in pots set

BEMIDJI - The third talk of the spring Beltrami County Master Gardeners Gardening 101 Series will be from noon-1 p.m. April 12 at the Bemidji Public Library.

Talk will focus on growing veggies in pots, and will be led by Master Gardener Mary Lou Marchand.

Marchand, a 13-year master gardener with the Beltrami County Extension Office, will share information on varieties of containers, necessary pot sizes and the feeding and watering of container-grown vegetables for optimum success.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their bag lunch, while members of the Friends of the Bemidji Library will provide coffee, juice and dessert.
