Woodke, Inkel are honored volunteers

The Bemidji Pioneer, Paul Bunyan Broadcasting, Ken K. Thompson and the United Way recognize Someone Special Volunteers who have made significant contributions to the community.

The Boy Scouts of America - Voyageurs Area Council program has nominated Robert Woodke and Steve Inkel as Someone Special volunteers.

Woodke is a key volunteer at the council, district and local level of Boy Scouts. He currently serves on the Voyageurs Area Council Board of Directors and the Noopiming District Committee, is the Bemidji Area Roundtable Commissioner and is the charter organization representative for Pack 82 in Bemidji. Woodke also chairs and is involved with numerous Scouting activities in the Bemidji area and the Voyageurs Area Council. He has completed wood badge training, Scouting's highest level of volunteer training, and has been recognized with the Silver Beaver Award, the Voyageurs Area Council's highest rank of volunteer recognition.

Inkel currently serves as a key volunteer at the council, district and local level of Boy Scouts. He also serves on the Voyageurs Area Council Board of Directors and the Noopiming District Committee and is the scoutmaster for Troop 25 in Bemidji. Inkel chairs and is involved with numerous Scouting activities in the Bemidji Area and the Voyageurs Area Council. He has completed wood badge training, Scouting's highest level of volunteer training, and has been recognized with the Silver Beaver Award, the Voyageurs Area Council's highest rank of volunteer recognition.
