DULUTH – The Bemidji State women’s basketball team found themselves on the losing end for the second straight day, struggling offensively in a 65-50 NSIC loss to Minnesota Duluth Saturday.

The loss drops BSU to 5-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play while the Bulldogs improve to 5-2 and 2-1.

The Beavers were led by juniors Lanae Rash and Kate Warmack, who each had 14 points. Rash picked up five steals while Warmack added seven rebounds.

As a team, the Beavers outshot the Bulldogs 40.4 percent (21-of-52) to 36.8 percent (21-of-57).

Katrina Newman led the Bulldogs with 21 points while Hannah Rutton was the other Bulldog in double figures with 19.
