According to the State Patrol, the woman was driving east in the passing lane on Highway 2 about 6:33 p.m. Wednesday when she went off the roadway on the left side "by a couple of tire widths, came back onto the roadway, over-corrected and went off the road left again," the Patrol trooper said in a report.

Highway 2 is a divided four-lane road at that point and the roadway was icy at the time, the Patrol said.

The 2005 Malibu rolled in the median, went across the westbound lanes and came to rest on its wheels in the north ditch of the westbound lanes.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected, the Patrol said. The airbags deployed.

McIntosh is about 35 miles southeast of Crookston.
