Woman injured in one-vehicle rollover Saturday

The Polk County Sheriff's Office reported a one-vehicle rollover accident, which occurred at 4:48 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, on U.S. Highway 2 on the west edge of Fosston.

Barbara M. Urness, 54, of McIntosh, was driving west on Highway 2 in a four-door 2000 Mercury Sable. The roadway was wet, and Urness' vehicle went off the left side of the highway. She overcorrected, and the car went off the right side of the highway and overturned.

She was taken to First Care Medical Services Hospital in Fosston where she was treated for minor injuries.

She was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was detected, according to the sheriff's report.
