A 43-year-old Bemidji woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash shortly after noon Tuesday in downtown Bemidji. The crash occurred at the intersection of 15th Street Northwest and Bemidji Avenue North.

Dana Heriot was treated and released at North Country Regional Hospital following the crash.

According to a report from the Bemidji Police Department:

Kyle Johnson, 16, of Bemidji, was driving a Ford pickup when he began slowing for a red light. But, the vehicle in front of his, a 2002 Honda Accord driving by Heriot, stopped sooner than Johnson expected and he stuck the vehicle.

Johnson said he was not injured. Heriot suffered neck pain and was taken to NCRH.
