The DNR said the bear clawed and bit a 72-year-old Minnesota woman after she and her dog startled the bear and its three yearlings at her home Monday near McGregor, Minn. McGREGOR, Minn. -- A 72-year-old rural McGregor woman was bitten and clawed by a sow bear Monday evening in the woman’s yard just outside her lake home.
