Woman dies early Saturday morning in Hubbard County accident

A 28-year-old Floodwood, Minn., woman died in a single-vehicle rollover reported about 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning in Hubbard County.

According to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office:

Brooke Rosemore was found dead in a 1998 Volkswagon Passat that had been traveling south on Hubbard County Road 3, about 2 miles south of County Road 9, in Lake Hattie Township.

Rosemore, who had been wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second occupant, Jesse Dahl, 29, of Grand Rapids, was found at a nearby residence. He was taken to North Country Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

The press release did not state who was driving the vehicle.

Responding to the scene were the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Bemidji Ambulance Service and Becida First Responders.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Hubbard County Sheriff's Office and State Patrol.
