The public is invited to participate and provide input on regulations being considered by the state Legislature and the Department of Natural Resources, particularly the recent delisting of the gray wolf by the federal government.

The meeting will be from 3-5 p.m. in the gymnasium of Horace May Elementary School, 3300 Gillette Drive NW, Bemidji.

Sen. John Carlson, R-Bemidji, said the meeting is an opportunity for residents to provide comment in helping set wolf hunting regulations.

Dan Stark, large carnivore specialist for the DNR, also will attend the meeting to talk about the state's wolf history and management plan.
