The wind is calm, giving the area a bit of a break from the blustery conditions from earlier in the week, but the weather service still has placed the entire region - northern Minnesota and eastern Dakotas - into a wind chill advisory.
Bemidji's high temperature forecast for today is 12 degrees, but wind chill readings could dip to 27-below. A warm up - into the 20s - is predicted by Friday.
