White to retire as Bagley bank leader
Lowell W. White III, president/CEO of First National Bank, with offices in Bagley, Fosston and Wilton, will retire Jan. 31.
An open house in his honor is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the bank's Bagley location.
White moved to Bagley in January 1976 and was a loan officer at First National Bank until 2000, when he was named its president/CEO.
He began his banking career with Centennial State Bank in Circle Pines, Minn., in the consumer loan department. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis.
He will be succeeded by Lester Liljedahl, who will hold the same positions.
White and his wife plan to remain in the Bagley area after his retirement.
