The event is being held at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club.

Bloostron also won his second match, 2-and-1 over James Price of Wilds Golf Club.

Wiltse, who represented Bemidji Town & Country Club, took a 1-up lead after the fifth hole against Blooston and increased his advantage to 3-up with a par on No. 11. Blooston captured the next three holes, however to square the match.

Wiltse answered with a winning par on No. 15 to regain the lead but Blooston claimed the next two holes to open a 1-up lead. When both men parred No. 18 Blooston had his victory.

Joining him in the match-play quarterfinals are Charles Kost of Marshall Golf Club, David Kokesh of Bent Creek, Leif Carlson of Hastings, Steve Whittaker of Pebble Creek, Jon Empanger of Island View, Kevin Treacy of Northland Country Club and Terry Moores III of Twin Cities Golf Club.
