The new trail will extend from Diamond Point Park to 29th Street N.E.

The work will involve milling off 2-inches of the existing bituminous and replacing it with 2-inches of new bituminous for the full width of the street.

This section of Birchmont Drive N.E. will remain open to two way traffic, but will likely involve minimal traffic delays. Vehicle traffic not required to travel this section of Birchmont Drive are asked to find an alternative route.

Access to Cameron Park will remain open during this time, but will involve minor access delays to permit work in front of the entrance.
