Bemidji Minnesota P.O. Box 455 56619

In the first such event held Saturday at the Sanford Center, TNA Live! Saturday night featured six wrestling match-ups.

Video footage and results from the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling event has been appearing online since the event was held.

According to web sources, Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle defeated "King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett in the main event.

In other matches:

- Ink Inc. defeated Gunnar and Murphy.

- Madison Rayne beat Angelina Love

- Samoa Joe defeated Pope Angelo Dinero.

- Mr. Anderson defeated Bully Ray

- Devon defeated Hernandez

Coverage of the event can be found online. On YouTube, for instance, there is video footage of Jarrett and Angle separately making their entrance into the ring.

Also on YouTube is footage of Angle addressing participants in a regional wresting tournament at Bemidji High School. The Olympic Gold Medalist spoke to more than 800 children and teens about training and education.

Bob LeBarron, the executive director of the Sanford Center in Bemidji, said he spoke with a representative from TNA Wrestling Monday afternoon and, overall, they were pleased with the event.

LeBarron, declining to specify how many tickets were sold for the event, said TNA and the Sanford Center would have both preferred to have sold more tickets. But, considering it was a new market for TNA, the event's promoter was pleased.

He also reported that merchandise sales, per TNA, went well, and noted that the Sanford Center itself had good concessions sales.

"It was a good night," he said. "A smooth night."
