Water safety course offered at BHS pool

The ARC will be offering a 30-hour water safety instructor training course from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 14-29 at the Bemidji High School pool.

The course is geared for people 16 years and older who want to become American Red Cross water safety instructors.

The course will teach experienced swimmers skills to save lives. The course fee is $225, and does not include cost of books for the course, which may be purchased at the North Star American Red Cross.
