The Steel Bridge Road Northeast, which runs east from stat Highway 72 in Waskish, will soon be open to vehicles weighing more than 3 tons.
Vehicles above 3 tons, yet less than 10 tons, will be able to cross the bridge once the signs are taken down on Monday.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management announced the changes Friday.
The bridge was restricted to 3-ton or less traffic Sept. 12 after it was found deficient. The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management was notified of a potential hazard found at a bridge.
The bridge repairs were done due to a combined effort by bridge consultants and the Beltrami County Highway Department.
