Voyageur Classic race postponed

BEMIDJI – The Voyageur Classic Sled Dog Race has been postponed due to expected inclement weather today.

The race was to take place today, but will now be held Feb. 2.
In a statement released Thursday, officials said the race will begin at 10 a.m. Feb. 2 at Northome.
“As always, safety is our number one priority and driving conditions over the next couple days could be dangerous for mushers and their dogs,” Race Marshall Dan Bergerson said.
