Voter ID ensures integrity of elections
I am greatly disappointed with the Vote No for Voter ID folks who assert that requiring a photo ID to vote is somehow an undue hardship. It seems that folks could at least survive the “hardship” of obtaining a photo ID to help ensure the integrity of our voting process. I do believe the voter ID amendment is needed given the questionable nature of the past Senatorial election in Minnesota – the Coleman-Franken election.
To claim “hardship” is a disappointment to veterans and their families. We veterans gave lives, body parts, mental/emotional health and at the very least, gave up time with our families to ensure the freedom and integrity of voting by truly eligible voters continues to be one of the cornerstones of our republic.
Please join me in voting “yes” to voter ID.
