Volunteer helps set up fireworks stand

Volunteer Nicole Hendrickson, 12, from Bemidji Evangelical Covenant Church unloaded and set up the fireworks Wednesday afternoon at MarketPlace Food and Drug. Youth from the church volunteer to run the stand which opens today from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. through July 4. The church has manned the stand for about seven years using profits to fund youth programs.
