VOLLEYBALL: Bemidji sweeps Duluth East

DULUTH — The Bemidji High School volleyball team eased to a 25-11, 25-17, 25-13 win over Duluth East Tuesday night in Duluth.

“We played pretty well,” BHS head coach Teresa Colligan said. “We didn’t make many errors. We served aggressively, which was able to keep them off their game.”

Myria Colley led the BHS offense with 12 kills while Alexa Greendahl had 20 set assists and three blocks. Claire Laakso had four blocks and five kills for the Lumberjacks (14-12). Talia Lucken led the way with 12 digs.

The Lumberjacks close out the regular season with a match at Thief River Falls Thursday night.
