Volleyball: Bemidji 14U Junior Olympic team plays in national open tournament
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Bemidji 14U Black Ice Junior Olympic volleyball team opens its national tournament pool play competition today (Tuesday) with a 4 p.m. match against Washington. At 6 p.m. Bemidji will face California and the day will end with an 8 p.m. match against Hawaii.
The tournament will conclude Friday.
Members of the team, which is coached by Netti Homer and Teresa Colligan, include Bemidji players Jenna Lewis, Anna Carey, Evette Morgan, Rumer Flatness, Makenna Quinn, Kennedy Mills, Anna Falldorf, Addie Colligan, Alexis Wade and Britney Bennett plus Casey Volkmann of Wadena and Victoria Johnson of Roseau.

Bemidji's 16U Black Ice team will head to Minneapolis on Monday for the national meet in its division.
