Visitor to The Opener Art Festival checks out photography

Karen Laakso of Outing, Minn., checks out the photography of Carol Hoyem of Pine Tree Photo Art Saturday at The Opener Art Festival at the New City Ballroom at the Hungry Bear Banquet and Conference Center. Laakso was with her daughter, Donna Laakso. Hoyem, who lives on Long Lake near Bemidji, opened her business within the past year, specializing in wildlife and travel photography.
