Vikings reportedly strike deal for new stadium

MINNEAPOLIS - The Star Tribune in Minneapolis is reporting that state officials, the Vikings and city leaders have struck a deal on how to share the costs of a new $975 million football stadium.

The agreement is sourced to anonymous officials.

Vikings vice president Lester Bagley denied the report, according to a story posted on the newspaper's website at 4:15 p.m.

Any deal would have to be approved by the Minnesota Legislature,the NFL and the City Council.
