Vikings' playoff game scheduled at noon Jan. 17
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Vikings don't know yet which team they'll face to start the postseason. But they have found out when the game will be played.
The NFL says Minnesota will host a divisional round game on Sunday, Jan. 17, at noon Central time. The Vikings earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC field and the bye that comes with it. They'll host either Dallas, Green Bay or Arizona at the Metrodome, depending on how the wild-card round plays out.
If the Cowboys beat Philadelphia at home this Saturday, they'll come to Minnesota. If the Eagles win that game, the Vikings will face the winner of the Packers-Cardinals game.
The Vikings haven't won a playoff game since the 2004 season. They haven't won a home playoff game in nine years.
