Vienna E. Dexter-Wistey, 94, of Squaw Lake, Minn., died Jan. 13, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Excelsior, Minn.
A memorial service will be held in June at Centennial Lutheran Church in Squaw Lake.
Carroll Funeral Home of Deer River is assisting the family with arrangements.
She enjoyed being a daughter, wife, mother and a teacher of 35 years.
She is survived by her only son, Barry (Diane) of Okeechobee, Fla.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Christ Oja; husbands, Clarence Wistey and S.B. "Sime" Dexter; sister, Mayme Bodien; and brothers, Bill and Walter Oja.
