The Beltrami County Fair is one of few fairgrounds that host events year 'round. During the summer many events will take place on the fairgrounds before the fair even opens. During the spring volunteers are on the fairgrounds planting flowers and will come out all summer long to weed and water them. Then about two weeks before the fair starts the fairgrounds get busy with volunteers getting ready for the opening day of the County Fair, which is Wednesday, July 29.
