UPDATED: Voelkner, Pugleasa seek re-election to Bemidji School Board

BEMIDJI - Incumbent school board members Ann Long Voelkner and John Pugleasa have filed paperwork seeking re-election to the board.

Three four-year seats for District 31 will be on the November ballot.

Filing is open until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Candidates must be 21 years old, be an eligible voter, a resident of the district for at least 30 days prior to election and not be convicted of a felony.

The filing fee is $2. Affidavits of candidacy are available at the superintendent's office, 3300 Gillett Drive NW.
