UPDATED: Patrol identifies semi driver killed in rollover near Leech Lake

WHIPHOLT - WHIPHOLT - A semi-truck driver died early today after the rig he was driving rolled near Leech Lake's Whipholt Beach.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 31-year-old Lance E. Mein of Bertha was traveling east on Highway 200, crossed over the west-bound lane and rolled in the westbound ditch near mile-post 139.

State troopers were called to the scene at 1:46 a.m.

Mein was operating a 2010 Peterbuilt truck.
