UPDATED: At least 2 injured in fire north of Bemidji

At least two people were injured in a fire north of Bemidji this afternoon.

Area firefighters responded shortly after 2 p.m. to a report of a fire at 11100 Spring Drive NW.

All fire engines were called to respond.

Unofficial reports from dispatchers stated the fire started in a car, which was parked in a garage, but hasn't spread to the home. In addition, a dispatcher report said two people suffered burns to the face and arms.

In addition, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is being asked to send a firefighting crew due to the dry conditions.
