The collision occurred at the intersection of highways 71 and 15, snarling traffic just after 11 a.m.

The Park Rapids police and Hubbard County Sheriff's Department were directing traffic around the scene as emergency personnel worked to free the female driver of one of the vehicles.

There was major damage to one vehicle's front end and the other vehicle's driver's door, but unclear from the scene which directions the vehicles were traveling at the time of the crash.
