It begins at 5 when St. Cloud Apollo and Little Falls clash again for the 3A title.

Tonight, St. Cloud Tech and Buffalo square off for the 4A crown.

A number of other titles will be decided Friday.

The Section 7-1A champ will be the final one picked Saturday after its semifinals tonight with Chisholm facing AlBrook and Mesabi East battling Floodwood.

Little Falls shaded Apollo 63-62 last year and the pair seem evenly matched again today.

Little Falls won both regular-season games by six and five points.

Tech and Buffalo met once in December with the Bison winning 55-52.

Tech beat the Bison in last year's title game 61-60.

Thief River Falls and Crosby reached the 8-2A title round Tuesday, ousting East Grand Forks and Hawley. The winners will meet at 7 Friday night at the Bemidji State University Gymnasium.

Cass Lake-Bena and the Northern Freeze gained the 8-1A championship with wins over Mahnomen and Warren, respectively. They will square off at 7 Friday night at Thief River Falls.

In other Tuesday play, Duluth East gained the 7-4A final by beating Coon Rapids and will face Forest Lake for a state berth.

Grand Rapids beat Cloquet for the 8-3A title. Staples-Motley beat Morris to reach the 6-2A final and meets New London-Spicer while Sebeka ended the Nevis season 68-48 in the Section 5-1A semifinals.

Ada-Borup and Fergus Falls Hillcrest Academy will clash for the Section 6-1A title.
