TORONTO (AP) -- Minnesota keeps failing to pressure Detroit in the AL Central.

Jose Bautista hit a solo homer, Brett Cecil won his final start of the season and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Twins 3-2 Thursday.

"It's a game we needed to win, and we didn't do it," Morneau said. "That's why we're a .500 team."
