The donation qualifies Tru-Star for membership in the NCHS Foundation's Business Investors in Health Club.

The club was created by the NCHS Foundation's Business Relations Committee. Community businesses and organizations are invited to join by donating $1,000 or more to the foundation to support local health care needs.

The Excellence in Healthcare package includes Gene-Xpert System lab equipment, bedside medication rerification, same day surgery TVs, indoor and outdoor healing gardens, waiting area Internet kiosks, 12 patient room renovations, and spoken menu technology for hospital patients.

Anyone interested in supporting the project should contact the NCHS Health Services Foundation at 333-5515.
