Traditional skills workshops set for Tuesday

BEMIDJI – Bemidji State University will again offer Traditional Skills Workshops through its Sustainability Office beginning Tuesday.

Intro to Food Preservation will kick off the workshop series, and will cover the basics of canning, dehydrating and freezing foods. The workshop will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the American Indian Resource Center and is limited to 25 participants.
Other upcoming workshops include Canning Tomatoes on Saturday and Making Chili and Spaghetti Sauce on Nov. 14. Traditional Skills Workshops are free for BSU students and $7 for non-students.
