Tonic Sol-fa returns to Bemidji
BEMIDJI — Appearing in Bemidji for the second time in the past year, Tonic Sol-fa will once again perform in support of a deserving cause.
This time, the “four voices and a tambourine” will take the stage for the 25th Annual Paul Bunyan Broadcasting Radiothon to End Child Abuse and also to benefit St. Philip’s School.
The show will begin at 7 tonight in the Bemidji High School Auditorium.
The Emmy award-winning a cappella group will perform songs off of their most recent album “21,” which was released last fall.
“We haven’t really had the time to push it until now with holiday tours and what not,” Greg Bannwarth, tenor of Tonic Sol-fa, said.
The last time Tonic Sol-fa was in Bemidji, they performed for fundraiser supporting the Paul Bunyan Playhouse.
“Quite a few of our events are to fundraise and it feels good to help out,” Bannwarth added.
Tickets are available at St. Philip’s School for $15 or at the door for $20.
