Thrivent Builds serves fundraiser meal

Bonnie Jevning, Thrivent Builds specialist, and Tom Schwartz, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans associate, helped serve the Community-Wide Roast Beef Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Bemidji Eagles Club. 250 people attended the event and raised more than $2,000 for the 2009 Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity home built in Blackduck. The fundraiser was sponsored by the Beltrami County Thrivent Financial for Lutherans board members. To date, six homes have been built in Beltrami County since 2006 as part of this mutual program.
