Three-vehicle accident in Bemidji injures one driver, two children

A three-vehicle accident at 5 p.m. Thursday in Bemidji caused minor injuries to one driver and two passengers.

According to state accident report:

Russell Bahr, 79, of Bemidji, was driving a 1995 Buick northbound on Irvine Avenue Northwest while Tracy Lynn Lance, 37, of Bagley, was driving a 2002 Ford southbound on Irvine.

They both approached the signal light at 15th Street Northwest when Bahr turned east and the Ford struck the side of the Buick. Both vehicles had a green light.

After the collision, the Buick struck the front end of a vehicle driven by Lindsey Ann Drong, 29, of Wilton that was stopped on 15th Street at the signal light.

Bahr said he did not see the Ford.

Bahr suffered injuries to his chest and was taken to North Country Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.

Neither Lance nor Drong were injured.

Two passengers in the Drong vehicle - 11-year-old Brittany Adams and 9-year-old Cody Adams also were treated and released at NCRH.

Passengers in the Lance vehicle included Trey Lance, whose age was not listed, 12-year-old Tanya Lance, 4-year-old Tsahauah Lance, infant Tovah Lance, and 7-year-old Trenton Lance. They were not injured.
