The White Earth Police Department began the chase of a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck with two male occupants. The chase continued heading east on state Highway 200 into Hubbard County through the Lake George area. Speeds during the chase were as high as 105 mph. The truck then proceeded north through a private driveway and into a hayfield where the chase continued. The truck eventually drove off into the woods where it struck a tree ending the chase.

The passenger, Roy Lee Harden, 52, of Minneapolis, surrendered at this time while the driver, David Michael Lee, 49, address unknown, fled on foot. The Hubbard County canine unit was activated and tracked/located Lee a short time later. Lee was then transported to Clearwater County Jail by White Earth P with charges pending. Harden was transported to Hubbard County Jail with charges pending.

Upon further investigation it was learned the pickup truck was stolen several months ago from a dealership in Fargo, N.D. The Fargo Police Department was contacted and will also follow up on the incident.

Investigation continues with the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office, White Earth Police Department and Fargo Police Department.
