Third Street holds Halloween Fest

From scary ghosts and goblins to princesses and fairies, Third Street in downtown Bemidji was filled with about 100 trick-or-treaters Thursday evening as participating businesses hosted a Halloween Fest.

Costume contest winners were Kiana McBride as Spongebob Squarepants, Kenzie Edevold as Minnie Mouse and Kenner Gundmanson as Unknown Phantom.

Children visited the businesses to register to win an oversized pumpkin from the Pick-a-Pumpkin patch. Tyren Lussier and Harly Diehl were the winners of the pumpkins.

Organizers of the event were TKz Closet and Explore Chiropractic. Participating businesses were Cool Threads, EAPC, Harmony Foods, Tutto Bene, TKz Closet, Vacuum and Sew Center, KRKB Music Outlet, Northway Insurance, Buy Line, Glazed and Amused, Woolen Mills, Bad Cat Creations, Cabin Coffeehouse and Explore Chiropractic.
