Thanks from Darren Chock’s family
The family of Darren Chock would like to thank the Bemidji area community for the love and support shown to us on behalf of our son and brother, Darren Chock.
From the 911 dispatcher, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Department, MN DNR, State Patrol, BCA, Border Patrol, Blackduck and Kelliher fire departments, North Country First Responders, Beltrami County Community Guard, Paul Bunyan Amateur Radio Club, Beltrami County GIS Department, all the volunteers and the friends and family of Darren.
Because of Sheriff Hodapp, and his deputies, they were able to piece together Darren’s last steps when the family and friends found our son. They were so compassionate and thoughtful, and they represented all who were involved with the utmost professionalism. We are proud of all of you during our darkest time.
Also, a special thank you to Father Don Braukmann of St. Philip’s Church, to Pastor Lee and Pastor Chris Richards of First Lutheran Church, for all of their prayers, love and support. To all of the wonderful ladies and gentlemen who helped with the service and meal at First Lutheran Church, to Dunn Bros. Coffee, LP Stitchery, McDonald’s, Dondelinger GMC, Olson Schwartz Funeral Home and to all of our friends, neighbors and family who donated during and after the search. Very special thanks for the prayers and thoughts given to Darren, and our family.
There are so many people in this community that we appreciate and thank. Please forgive us if we have forgotten anyone, you mean so much to us. We say “thank you.” Our families are grateful to you all.
