Authorities say the 17-year-old male was taken into custody Monday in the death of Colton Gleason. The 20-year-old Greenfield man died last Friday from head injuries. Investigators say he was walking with two female friends in an alleyway Thursday night when a car pulled up, one person got out and punched Gleason. He fell backward and hit his head.

Police say the assailant wasn't known to the victim.
