The North Central High School All Star Basketball Games have been set.

The boys games will take place April 2 at Bemidji State University.

The event will begin with a slam dunk contest at 1 p.m. with games at 2 and 4 p.m.

A week later the girls all-star games will be played at Cass Lake-Bena high school.

Games are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. starts.

Admission each day is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

At halftime of both boys and both girls games there will be a 3-point shooting contest.

The 2 p.m. boys game pits Maroon I versus Blue I and at 4 p.m. Maroon II and Blue II meet.

Members of the Maroon I team is Matt Puente, Andy Barrett and Alex Berg of East Grand Forks; Jeff Chandler of Warren-Alvarado-Oslo; Jordan Sang and Nevin Lubarski of Stephen-Argyle; Joel Schwensfeier of Kittson Central; Adam Telander of Badger-Greenbush-Middle River; Adam Gumeringer and Jeremy Bosch of Roseau; Tomas Loberg and Tim Polansky of Grygla-Gatzke; Kyle Lunke of Thief River Falls; and Justin Hasbrouck of Crookston. Coaching the Maroon I team will be John Lang, Roseau. Assistant is Vern Johnson, Grygla-Gatzke.

Members of the Blue I team are Kyle Vettleson of Red Lake County Central; Reise Stenberg of Fosston; Darwin Bigbear of Mahnomen; Nate Daniels and Brad Hoff of Bemidji; Braden Beckstrand and Casey Crane of Clearbrook-Gonvick; Dallas Crowe of Red Lake; Justin Gilge of Kelliher/Northome; Kevin Muller, David Chessmore and Anthony Robinson of Cass Lake-Bena; Shawn Cariveau of Climax-Fisher; and Billy Hall of Park Christian. Clearbrook-Gonvick's Jeff Ostrom will coach the Blue I team and will be assisted by Randy Huie of Red Lkae County Central.

Members of the Maroon II team are Cory Mattson of Hawley; Rocky Donatelle of Park Rapids; Brandon Roiko and Andrew Skoog of Menahga; Tyler Day and Dan Winter of Laporte; Danny Kerrigan of Walker-Hackensack-Akeley; Cole Boden and Zach Holsman of Hill City; Paul Richie and Jordan Mattfield of Grand Rapids; Matt Lien and Danny Campbell of Nevis; and Jordan Hedlund of International Falls. Coach of the Maroon II team is Dan Elhard of Grand Rapids. Assisting Elhard is Rod Eidelbeis also of Grand Rapids.

The Blue II team consists of Travis Dixon and Joe Stoll of Pillager; Ryan Peeters of New York Mills; Caleb Anderson and Will Ryan of Perham; Joel Schramm of Pequot Lakes; Warren Nelson and Justin Sharp of Sebeka; Derek Orth of Staples-Motley; Nolan Buresh and Dan Lepper of Wadena-Deer Creek; Adam Johnson, and Tyler Scott and Nathan Schulstad of Pelican Rapids. Dave Galovich of Crosby-Ironton and his assistant Neil Tesdahl will coach the Blue II team.

At Cass Lake-Bena High School girls selected to the Maroon I team are Ally Evavold and Amanda Wikersham of East Grand Forks; Cassy Campbell of Badger-Greenbush-Middle River; Heather Donarski of Roseau; Casey Engelstad and Heather Keogh of Thief River Falls; Katie Schmidt of Warren-Alvarado-Oslo; Whitney Coffield of Kittson County North; and Katie Anderson of Clearbrook-Gonvick. Coaching the Maroon I team is Thomas Neibauer of Badger-Greenbush-Middle River.

The Blue I consists of Lee Zutz, Abby Buse and Kayla Knott of Red Lake Falls; Amie Salvhus and Carly Brorson of Win-E-Mac; Kelly Landsverk, Carin Sundbom and Kristi Lucken of Fosston; and Abby Passolt and Stephanie Porter of Park Christian. Win-E-Mac's John Eckman will coach the Blue I team.

Maroon II is made up of Tracee Zima of Waubun; Lyndsey Gullickson of Bemidji; Megan Zubke and Stefanie Smith of Laporte; Jamie Exner of Blackduck; Steph Ayers and Kathy Seelye of Deer River; Laura Rothstein of Grand Rapids; and Denise Kingsley of Hill City. Dale Marleau of Deer River will be the team's coach.

Selected to the Blue II team is Ali Hesse and Jill Wizik of Nevis; Kasey Theisen and Nikki Kneisl of Wadena-Deer Creek; Carissa Johnson of Pequot Lakes; Erica Cleveland and Cari Neisess of Menahga; and Chelsea Einerwold and Kendell Spar of Staples-Motley. Al Avelsgard of Menahga and his assistant Kristie Pianfetti will coach the Blue II team.
