About 50 marchers chant and carry signs as the annual Take Back the Night parade crosses Bemidji Avenue Friday evening. Take Back the Night, which takes a stand against sexual assault and violence, also featured speakers, refreshments, open mike and entertainment. "If we strive for peace and nonviolence, anything is possible," Alena Hrabcakova said during the invocation. Bemidji has taken part in the international march and rally since 1982.
