Take Back the Night March next Thursday

BEMIDJI - This year is Bemidji's 30th year hosting a Take Back the Night event, which started in Europe in 1976 and has continued throughout the world to support survivors in their healing process and to raise awareness of sexual and domestic violence.

The public is invited to attend an evening of empowerment and celebration, including a march and chat through the streets of Bemidji. The event will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church at 501 Minnesota Avenue. For more information, contact Kim at 444-9524.
